As usual when buying compression socks from many, many different companies, the sizing chart is incorrect. This one is closer than others, and they at least have several size options. I would order AT LEAST one size up regardless of the sizing chart. The ‘get what you pay for’ saying I have learned well. Good compression socks just are not cheap or even mid-priced.The socks themselves were very heavy, and rough. Perhaps I misunderstood description, but they are too heavy and rough a material for me to do even walking exercise in OR even outside when it is hot doing nothing strenuous. Very hot and uncomfortable and that outweighed the benefits of the compression aspect which did work well if you stayed inside in cold AC.One gentle/delicate cold washing and they have pilled up so much as to be worthless until very cold weather comes.My husband is diabetic and his feet and ankles swell horrible. These socks are hard to put on him with arthritis hands but they really keep the swelling down. I put them on him in the morning while he is laying in bed.some of these sox's have a chemical that causes my skin to break out. those sox's are somewhat thinner than the pair that I received the next time but was thicker and had no problems. they was from a different seller I think. The states for the sox's seem to be the same and they have the Hoyisox emblem on them with R & L designation. If the ones I got wasn't so perfect I wouldn't bother but they are great, I just need about four more juslike themtI liked the cuff of the sock, the fit, and the compression- however I was under the impression that they were merino wool. That’s what is indicated in the title and description of the socks. Very disappointed to find it’s such a low amount, I would never have bought them and paid nearly $28 when I could have bought Smartwool that are all wool (aside from the spandex needed for compression) and very high quality for only $2 more.These socks are well made and comfortable to wear. The fact that they are available in several wide calf sizes makes it easier to find a good fit.I have found the sox that offer great compression but are light weight and comfortable!I love the way these feel when wearing them. They are soft, and stretchy and supportive. No sweat ever. LOVE love and love and will only buy this brand. only thing, MAKE MORE COLORS!
